K. R. Chari (born in 1943 in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu, India,) is B.A., B.G.L., C.A.I.I.B., A.C.I.B. & F.C.I.B. - London, Rashtra Bhasha Praveena, Jyotisha Visharada. The astrologer is indebted to his grand parents and parents who were instrumental in inducting him into the field of Astrology from his childhood. He took to serious study of Astrology in 1990 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi and did his Jyotish Visharada under the auspices of the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS) Delhi Chapter I . He feels indebted to his Gurus who inspired him to join the Faculty of ICAS Delhi Chapter - I and presently teaching Jaimini Astrology, predictive techniques, Astromaths made easy and Tajikashastra. He is a life member of ICAS (Regd.) Chennai & Delhi. He was Hon. Registrar of Examinations - ICAS from 1992-2000.

He has been conferred the Honorary Titles Jyotish Kovid, Jyotish Vachaspati, Jyotish Bhushana, Jyotish Ratna, Jyotish Sri, Jyotish Pracharya, Jyotish Bhaskar, Jyotish Acharya.

He has also co-authored a Book titled Tajikashastra - A Guide to Annual Horoscope or Varshapala.

He has been contributing a lot of articles to various Astrological Journals.

A dedicated and devoted teacher of Astrology, he is loved and admired by his teachers as well as his students for his clear concepts and indepth knowledge.
